An IETien expresses a deep sense of gratitude towards IET that will provide high skill, knowledge, expertise and wisdom to him/her for making significant contribution to the society and the nation. An IETien, in turn, will commit to the following code of ethics:
- An IETien will abide by all rules of discipline pertinent to his/ her education, attendance, examination at IET.
- An IETien will observe all ethics of education i.e. honesty, integrity, sincerity and punctuality.
- An IETien will devote a significant amount of his/ her time towards the study and knowledge gain.
- An IETien will recognize the value of time and execute all his/ her academic activities as per the time schedule.
- An IETien will refrain from the acts of indiscipline such as ragging, fights and indecency with fellow students.
- An IETien will always exhibit decent behaviour with the people in the society.
- An IETien will pay full regards and respect to his/ her teachers and non-teaching staff of IET.
- An IETien will develop a spirit of nation building and societal development,
- An IETien will develop a creative thinking, a positive attitude and a sense of belonging to the system- he/she is working in.
- An IETien will be very much committed to the parents and siblings.
- An IETien will always strive to step up on stair of success and avoid shortcuts for achieving success.
- An IETien will develop an aptitude of sportsmanship and healthy competition on all aspects of life.
