CALL FOR INNOVATIVE PROJECTS FROM STUDENTS

 

The Atal Center for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (ACIIE)IET, DAVV, Indore has started a new initiative this semester among the students to promote and cultivate out of box thinking, and develop useful products. It invites proposals from students for providing a technological solution to a social/engineering problem.

The guidelines for submitting a proposal are as follows:

  • A maximum of 5 students can submit the proposal; however,a teacher member (Mentor) has to be necessarily associated with the team.
  • The proposal must have a technological solution for a social / engineering problem.
  • The proposal should be practically viable.
  • The funding in terms of components/equipment to the tune of maximum Rs 10,000/- will provided to the selected proposal (two from each department).
  • The proposed work must be carried at ACIIE of IET Campus.
  • The requirement and budget must be enclosed with the proposal.
  • The maximum two-page proposal must highlight the following points:
    1. Title of the proposal
    2. Problem Statement
    3. Expected solution
    4. Requirements, with an approximate cost
    5. Name of the Mentor Faculty and participating students, with Signature and Contact details (of all).

The list of the accepted proposal will be announced on 11th August , 2019. The evaluation criterion will be utility, feasibility, clarity and the information submitted as above, regarding the project. Depending on the response, the student teams may be invited to present their proposal.
